This file represents the work that was done on the book GURPS Historical Folks before SJ Games canceled the project.

The text files that were originally submitted to SJ Games have been laid out in the style of a book (but not a GURPS book) to make them more eye-friendly and usable. Despite the fact that this was once a commissioned SJ Games project, this book is not affiliated nor sanctioned by SJ Games in any way. Please see the copyright information on the title page for more information.

The layout is still quite ugly in places, and there may be some missed formatting tags, spelling errors, etc. However, I have already spent hours upon hours on this project, and since I am no longer going to be paid for this, I can't justify spending any more time on it. For the record (and because spelling errors were one of the stated reasons for this book's cancellation), I spell-checked this document after sending in my rough draft to SJ Games and found about 35 mistakes (roughly one for every three pages). These errors have been corrected for this release.

I once again would like to thank all those who contributed to this book. It is your work that has made this publication possible. I apologize once more for this project's cancellation. I really wish this could have been an official GURPS book. However, by providing the work on the internet free of charge, I hope that your efforts will not have been for nothing. Special thanks go to Jason Morningstar for hosting this on his personal webspace. If anyone has any questions, comments, corrections, or criticisms, please send me a personal email at mrsmithson@hotmail.com . I will try to respond to all messages, but due to the fact that I will be moving to Cameroon in June (to teach English with the US Peace Corps), I may not be able to respond in a timely manner.
